How the planner works
Choose a day, tick the places and choose car or bus. You get one card per place, the most urgent first: whether you must book, when booking opens for your day, the price, the official link, the bus alternative and what happens without a booking. Items that are only planned for 2027 are marked in purple. A day outside the season is flagged. Your last choices stay on this device only. You can save the dates when booking opens, with a reminder, to your calendar, and copy a link to your plan to share it.

Step by step
- Fix your dates first, then book Tre Cime as soon as the portal shows your day (the municipality gives no window; about 30 days ahead is unofficial).
- Book Lago di Braies when booking opens (early June in 2026). Arriving by bus? Book the bus too.
- Buy Seceda online in advance for 5% off, once the weather looks good enough.
- Book Seiser Alm parking 6 days ahead and pass the St. Valentin checkpoint by 9:00. Otherwise take the cable car.
- For Val di Funes, book Zans only on busy summer days.
- Check Passo Gardena again in spring 2027 before you plan a drive over the Sella passes.
Questions
- Do I need to book Seceda?
- No, but it is recommended. The ticket desks still sell tickets, and buying online in advance gives 5% off.
- How much is Seceda?
- In 2026 an adult return from Ortisei was EUR 74, and EUR 49 one way.
- When can I book Lago di Braies for 2027?
- The dates are not out yet. In 2026 booking opened in early June. The P4 car park reopens its booking in May 2027.
- Can I drive to Braies without a booking?
- Yes, before 9:00 or after 16:00, but parking is not guaranteed.
- Does the Braies bus need a booking?
- Yes, from 1 July to 15 September, and guest cards are not valid then.
- How much is the Tre Cime toll road?
- In 2026 a car paid EUR 40 for 12 hours, and booking is compulsory.
- I do not know the plate of my rental car yet.
- At Tre Cime, add it by 23:59 the day before. At Braies P4, you can change the plate up to the day of arrival. At the Seiser Alm you cannot book without the plate, and it cannot be changed.
- Can I cancel or change a booking?
- Tre Cime: free cancellation until 23:59 six days before, no changes. Seiser Alm: no cancellation or change. Braies P4: free cancellation or rebooking up to 3 days before. Zans: no refund, a date change can be asked for until the day before. Seceda: check the shop’s terms. Book the non-refundable ones only once the weather looks good.
- Can I drive up to the Seiser Alm?
- Only before 9:00 (pass the checkpoint by 9:00 and enter the car park by 9:30) or after 17:00, and only with a parking booking (P1 EUR 15, P2 EUR 30).
- Is Passo Gardena closed in 2027?
- Not decided. A limited traffic zone is planned, but no dates, prices or spaces have been announced.
- Do I need to book Lago di Carezza, Cinque Torri or Lagazuoi?
- No.
